Temu Decides

On the xenophilia Discord (where my Patreonfolk hang out), I had to give an example, and spontaneously mentioned

an idol of Temu, with her hair of reeds and four horns, made from clay from the river. Carrying a seed pod in one hand and a strangled ibis in the other. You know the story.

…and then I could exactly see her, and had to start drawing right away.

Tamlil is pretty surprised. They were expecting some sort of “get in the water and say the name and have an abstract vision” kind of interaction. That is not what this one is.

Modular systems are a function of industrial society. But do people of The Fifth World still know how to agree to standards? With their acute interest in efficiency, I think they might have carried that lesson forward!
